Carnival Cruise Line Elation boat tour

We went on a five day cruise on the Carnival Elation to the Bahamas.  It was supposed to be a six day cruise, but because of Hurricane Matthew we were delayed one day and had to skip our stop at Freeport, Bahamas.  We left from Jacksonville, Florida.  Our remaining port was Nassau, Bahamas.  Carnival offered to refund anyone who didn't want to come on the cruise and a refund of one day for those who came.  I think that was fair.

In this video, I have some shots of the outside of the boat.  We filmed our interior room on the Carnival Elation.  You will see the food areas, recreation areas, and getting on and off the boat in Nassau, Bahamas.

We thought this boat was a little dated, but well maintained and very clean.  Our interior room was perfect for our family of five.  We like interior so that there is no window to light the room in the morning and wake us up.  Our kids still don't sleep past 8:00 but we always hopeful.  The food on this cruise was average.  The food at the Cat in the Hat Breakfast was amazing!  I would recommend this boat.  It has all the amenities my family enjoys and we had a great trip.
